ABOUT ME

People learned how to melt and shape glass more than three thousand years ago. The earliest objects crafted entirely from glass were beads, serving not only as jewelry but also possessing sacred functions, such as being integrated into priests’ attire.

In 2015, I decided to follow my dream, immersing myself in the magical world of glass to craft beads, leaving behind a substantial career.

Since childhood, I have sought to express myself through unique handmade pieces, attempting to shape the world around me through painting, sculpting, clothing design and jewelry making. My pharmacy education, though seemingly practical, revealed innovative methods of material transformation. Vials and solutions, producing unexpected effects when mixed, drew my artistic attention to chemical reactions. Thus, my pharmacy degree partly led me to manipulate glass, eventually inspiring the creation of my own jewelry brand, MPcrafts Art Jewelry.

Combining acquired skills, I create works similar to a wizard from a fairy tale. Inflating glass into hollow beads with a 'magic wand' (glassblower), I apply paint to peculiar animals and birds, enhancing them with precious metals like an alchemist (goldsmith). Inspired by nature, deep space and design, I, as an artist, strive to express the essence of these phenomena through material and technique. This fusion elevates my creations beyond mere products, turning them into shimmering wonders in the ordinary world.

ART WORKS

Beyond jewelry, I create large-scale glass installations that explore the rhythm and intricate details of the botanical world.

My artistic practice is rooted in a deep fascination with the botanical world - its rhythmic repetitions, delicate textures and the quiet magic of growth. I am inspired by the "frozen moments" of nature: the morning frost on a berry, the perfect geometry of a blooming iris, or the unexpected luck of finding a ladybug in the wild.

Creating these installations is a journey of extreme precision and meditative patience. Working with Murano glass in a 1000°C flame, I shape each element one by one. There are no molds or shortcuts - only the dialogue between the fire and the glass.
