Blueberry Field

150 hand-sculpted Murano glass berries

"Blueberry Field" is a rhythmic installation featuring 150 hand-sculpted Murano glass berries. This piece is a study of patience and the quiet magic of the wild, where every single element requires individual torch-work at temperatures exceeding 800°C. By drilling every mounting point manually and arranging the composition grain by grain, I transform raw materials into a tactile, three-dimensional narrative. For me, glass is the perfect medium to capture the fragility of nature and give it a permanent, luminous home.

My inspiration stems from the quiet, fleeting moments found in the undergrowth—the way sunlight catches the frosted surface of a wild berry or the perfect, repetitive geometry of a hidden field. I wanted to recreate that feeling of discovery, where nature’s chaos meets a hidden sense of order. This work is a tribute to the "small wonders" we often overlook, inviting the viewer to slow down and reconnect with the organic rhythms of the earth.

As a one-of-a-kind original, this installation carries its own secret story. Hidden among the deep indigos and frosted violets is a tiny, handcrafted glass ladybug - a special "Easter egg" added for good luck. In a world of mass production, this piece stands as a testament to the human touch; since no two glass berries are identical, this specific "field" can never be replicated. It is a unique fragment of a summer dream, preserved in glass forever.
