Iris Symphony
Nine intricate glass irises
"Iris Symphony" is more than a floral display; it is an exploration of rhythm and symmetry. The 3x3 grid serves as a deliberate stage, where the wild, organic complexity of the iris meets the disciplined order of geometric design. This installation consists of nine individual glass sculptures, each hand-shaped in a flame at 1000°C. By placing them in a precise matrix, I invite the viewer to compare the subtle differences between each petal, much like different instruments playing the same melody in a symphony.
My fascination with irises lies in their architectural mystery - the way their heavy, velvet petals defy gravity and unfold in a complex dance of light and shadow. To me the iris represents a perfect balance of strength and fragility. In this work I wanted to freeze that moment of full bloom, preserving the deep hues that are so characteristic of these noble flowers. It is a tribute to the "calculated beauty" of nature, where every curve has a purpose and every color tells a story.

Every iris in this frame is a standalone masterpiece; no two petals are identical, and no two curves repeat. The mounting process is equally demanding, requiring manual precision to ensure each flower sits perfectly within its designated space in the symphony.
"Iris Symphony" is a testament to the irreplaceable nature of handcrafted art. In a world of digital copies and mass production, this piece offers a tactile connection to the artist's hands. It is a unique fragment of a botanical dream, captured in Murano glass and framed to bring a sense of timeless elegance and peace into any interior.
